PC Launchpad is a guided PC building and research platform designed to make choosing parts easier to understand.
Instead of giving you a blank parts list and expecting you to already know what matters, PC Launchpad adds context around the process: what each component does, which specs actually matter, how parts compare, and how to think through tradeoffs for gaming, creative work, and everyday use.
Use it to:
Build a PC with a guided or advanced/freeform builder
Compare CPUs, GPUs, and other PC components side-by-side
Learn what specs actually mean in practical terms
Understand performance, compatibility, and upgrade tradeoffs
Put together a parts list you feel confident buying
Explore curated example builds and prebuilt options when you want a simpler starting point
Why it exists:
Building or buying a PC can be overwhelming because most tools focus on selection, but not explanation. You might see long spec sheets, benchmarks, compatibility notes, and price differences without knowing what should actually influence your decision.
PC Launchpad tries to bring the explanation alongside the parts.
The goal is to help users go from “I want a good PC, but I don’t know what to choose” to “I understand my options and feel confident making a decision.”
It is built especially for beginner and intermediate PC buyers, gamers, creators, students, and anyone who wants a clearer path through the PC building process.
Current focus:
PC Launchpad is continuing to improve its guided builder, comparison tools, educational content, and part recommendation experience. A curated prebuilt PC side is also being added, but the core product remains the software platform: helping users understand parts and make better PC buying decisions.
If you try it, I’d love feedback on where you got stuck, what felt unclear, or what feature would save you the most time when choosing a PC.
